Meet Dezirae and Matt, a dedicated husband and wife team excited to launch their new small business, Pet Place. Both full-time teachers, Matt and Dezirae started the Pet Place journey over four years ago. They had been working closely with local humane societies and shelters - providing a safe place for pets to heal and recover in a foster home while they waited for their forever home. Dezirae and Matt wanted to continue this work and have the vision of eventually opening their own rescue organization. 

This is where the vision of Pet Place began. They wanted to provide local communities with a place that can provide a nurturing and fun environment for their furry friends. Both have a passion for small business and wanted to make their own passions into a reality. Their Pet Place vision is to provide a safe space where pets can play, socialize, and thrive while you’re away. From engaging activities to personalized attention, Matt and Dezirae are committed to treating every pet like their family.
