Q: What types of training do you offer?
A: We offer private training, group classes, and special events like pack walks. Training focuses on building confidence, good manners, and stronger bonds between you and your dog.
Q: Does my dog need vaccinations before training?
A: Yes. For the safety of all pets, dogs must be up to date on rabies, bordetella, and distemper vaccines. Proof of vaccination may be requested at any time.
Q: Can unneutered or unspayed dogs join training?
A: Yes, but please note that dogs in heat cannot participate in group classes. Intact dogs may also show stronger behaviors, so we’ll evaluate whether a group setting is right for them.
Q: What if my dog has shown aggression before?
A: All dogs are assessed for safety before joining group classes. If your dog has a history of aggression, we may recommend private training instead to ensure the best and safest experience.
Q: What happens if I miss a class?
A: Group training classes are non-refundable at the time of booking. Rescheduling is at the trainer’s discretion, so please let us know as soon as possible if you can’t attend.
Q: Can training really fix all behavior problems?
A: Training builds skills and sets your dog up for success, but every dog learns differently. We cannot guarantee specific results—progress depends on consistency and practice at home.
Q: What should I bring to training?
A: Please bring a flat collar or harness, a standard leash (no retractables), and plenty of small, tasty treats your dog loves. Water is available on site.
Q: Is outdoor training safe?
A: Yes. We use secure areas for outdoor sessions, but no fence is completely escape-proof. If your dog has a history of escaping, let us know so we can take extra precautions.
Q: Can I get a refund if I change my mind after booking?
A: Training services are non-refundable once booked. Please review your schedule before signing up.
Q: Will my dog be supervised during training?
A: Absolutely. Our trainers are experienced and prioritize safety, but you are also responsible for your pet during off-site events like pack walks.
