Exciting News: Pet Place is Expanding Our Outdoor Play Yard!

We're thrilled to announce that pet place is growing - literally! Our beloved outdoor play yard is getting a major upgrade to provide even more space and enrichment for our furry friends. Here's what you can look forward to with our expansion project.

More Room to Roam

The expanded area will give dogs of all sizes more room to run, play, and socialize. Whether your pup loves to sprint or prefers a leisurely stroll, they'll have plenty of space to enjoy the fresh air.

The proposed outdoor area will be strategically divided into two distinct yards. The first yard will be exclusively dedicated to dogs currently in our care, ensuring a secure and monitored play environment. The second yard is designed with flexibility in mind, intended for additional playgroups and potentially opened to the public during after-hours periods. To facilitate this expansion, we are seeking a variance to install a 4-foot height fence in the front yard of our property, which will safely contain dogs while maintaining an open, welcoming aesthetic.

Our proposed fence will be constructed of a minimum 9-gauge black vinyl-coated chain link, providing durability and visibility. The fence will feature two primary access points: a dog park-style double gate entrance from our parking lot and a connection to our existing fence at the back of the building. While the front portion of the fence will be 4 feet in height, the back portion will be 6 feet tall, offering comprehensive containment and security.

We believe this outdoor play space will not only improve our ability to provide exceptional care for dogs but also offer a valuable service to our community. We are committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism in our operations.
