Drop Off at Pet Place

Arrival and Check-In
As Pet Place opens its doors, excited pet owners arrive with their beloved dogs, ready for a fun and comfortable stay. Upon arrival, they check in their furry companions, providing any necessary information to the staff, including feeding schedules, medication needs, and behavioral updates. This ensures that every pet receives the personalized care they need during their time with us.
Health Check
Before joining playtime or settling into their accommodations, each dog undergoes a quick but thorough health check. Our trained staff carefully assesses their overall condition, checking for any signs of illness, discomfort, or unusual behavior. This important step ensures the well-being of all pets in our care and helps maintain a healthy environment.
Play Groups and Socialization
Once cleared, dogs are grouped based on factors such as size, temperament, and activity level to create a safe and enjoyable play experience. Rest Period
After an active and engaging morning of play, the dogs are given a well-deserved break to rest and recharge. Comfortable bedding, and designated quiet areas provide a relaxing space where they can unwind. This downtime is essential for preventing overstimulation and ensuring that each dog remains happy and well-balanced throughout the day. Soft music or calming sounds are played to create a soothing atmosphere, helping the dogs feel at ease as they settle in for their midday rest.
Individual Attention
During this quiet period, staff members take the opportunity to provide personalized one-on-one care. Dogs may receive soothing belly rubs, or extra cuddle time to make them feel even more at home. For those with special needs, medication is administered as directed by their owners, ensuring that their health requirements are met. Some dogs may also participate in short, positive reinforcement-based training exercises to reinforce good behavior and mental engagement. These individual interactions help build trust between the staff and the dogs, creating a sense of security and companionship.

Playtime Resumes
After a refreshing rest, the dogs are re-energized and ready for another round of fun! Playtime resumes as they rejoin their friends for more social interaction, running, and engaging in friendly games of chase or fetch. Whether it’s romping around with their favorite pals, or simply trotting around enjoying the companionship, every dog gets the opportunity to burn off energy in a safe and supervised setting. Staff members remain attentive, ensuring that play remains positive and appropriate for all personalities and activity levels.

To keep the afternoon engaging and stimulating, a variety of enrichment activities are once again introduced. Wind Down
As the day gradually comes to an end, the energy levels in the facility start to settle. Play sessions become less intense, and calming activities are introduced to help the dogs relax before pickup time. Soft, soothing music may play in the background, lighting may be dimmed, and calming scents such as lavender could be used to create a peaceful environment. This transition allows the dogs to unwind, making it easier for them to return home in a calm and content state. By the time their owners arrive, they are happy, well-exercised, and ready to relax for the evening, making for a smooth and stress-free reunion.
